- Pacea Domnului (Peace of the Lord)! My name is Jeremy Befort and I am from North Platte, Nebraska. I was baptized into Christ on July 9th, 2002 at Capitol City Christian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. In December of 2003 I finished my Civil Engineering degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I began living in Romania and working with For God's Children International 4+ years ago. Our heart's desire is to provide hope, dignity, and love in Jesus' name for God's children. God blessed me with a wonderful Romanian wife, Oana Tepes, a graphic design artist from Piatra Neamt. We got married on September 30th, 2007.
